Meet Sharon Taylor

For Sharon Taylor, stories begin with a sound, the first quiet note of something waiting to be discovered.

Sharon Taylor is a Middle Tennessee author, professional vocalist, pianist, and artist whose work brings together a lifelong love of music, storytelling, and visual art. Her musical experience includes session work and the Nashville Symphony Chorus. Through her established private studio, Sharon Taylor Creative, she offers personal instruction in music and art, helping students develop their skills and discover their own creative voice.

Faith, imagination, and the arts

Her stories bring those interests together. Dream Jumper explores memory, identity, music, and the struggle to recognize truth. Follow the Star invites families into Judith’s journey through illustration and original songs. Her children’s books introduce colorful characters and adventures for young readers.

“I want readers to hear the Song.”

When she is not writing, Sharon can usually be found singing, teaching, painting, or dreaming up the next story.
